Bottle at a MesandSim rating party. VEry dark brown colour. Thin beige bubbles. Some blackcurrant flavour. Can I smell Bovril? Strong English dark ale.

Looks like a barley wine, but slightly darker... Only mildly darker than the "Barley Wine" but then again, the "Pale Barley Wine" was only mildly lighter than the "Barley Wine". You can always count on Bare Arts for some entertainment value! Slight cheesey funk and sweet fruity malt. Some chocolate and chewy barley. Faint but enjoyable alcohol and a slight nutty character in the finish. Decent stuff.
