Bottled (thanks Chris & Ruth!). More or less pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel malts, some roasted malts, chocolate, mild ashes as well as some liquorice. Flavour is big time liquorice, some chocolate, ashes and mild notes of roasted malts. Pleasantly balanced and smooth.

Hand bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Very dark brown, minimal head. Slight fruity licorice aroma. Mid sweet with near full body. Some aniseed and licorice, well rounded mouthfeel. Aniseed takes over a finish with some alcohol warmth and slight spicy bitterness.
