500ml bottle (no best before date but brewed on 22 January 2010) @ Christmas tasting on 28 December 2010. Black in colour. Very roasty on the nose. Some bitterness on the palate. Lots of chocolate in the flavour. Firm mouthfeel but a touch light, and not very rich, for an imperial stout. Overall, good.

Bottle 500ml. @ ChrisOs - Christmas Tasting.

Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, cold coffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101228]

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Dark brown beer - just about clear. Tidy tan head. Light frothy palate, airy. Coffee, dark malt. Trace of lactose sweetness. Finishes dry. Very light Impy Stout.
