A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s "Has anyone seen my stool?" tasting.
Cleanish light amber coloured with a thin beige head. A good dryish feeling barley wine with plenty of rich and warming boozy character. Lots of caramel and fruit and just a hint of pepper in the finish. Decent stuff.

Bottle at ChrisO "I’m Trying to see the Stool" pre GBBF2010 tasting. Sweet, some choc, some fruit, some ceiling. This was my beer I was drinking when the plaster fell from the roof in the oddest moment of any tasting I have been at.

Bottle @ Chriso’s pre-GBBF ’Raise the Roof’ Tasting ’10. My share was probably towards the end, if not the bottom of the bottle as it poured a particulate copper/amber with a thin and disappearing dark tan head leaving a lingering ring of lace. Yeasty, earthy and oaky aromas with dried fruit, bread and tobacco on the tongue and some bourbon-esque heat. Soft, a touch oily with low carbonation on a medium body with some finishing alcohol sting.
