Bottle from the Barearts Brewery/cafe, Todmorden, W.Yorks, 06.04.12 consumed the same day Pours cloudy warm gold/light amber with white head. Sweetish with a touch too much alcohol showing through. Bitterness is subtle but then builds a little. Drying across the roof of the mouth, not great. I sampled this at 8.5%. A6 A2 T6 P2 Ov12 2.8

From 500ml bottle at tasting with Jan & Charlotte on 2 January 2011. Pale amber in colour. Good condition. Not the biggest Cascade presence on the palate. Quite floral on the nose though. Clean and tasty but a bit more hop presence wouldn’t have gone amiss.

Clear medium to dark orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, apricot. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110102]
