As bad as it gets. This is what Lolo drinks after he plays soccer with Beto, Yayo, Pollo and Lalo. What girls from Playa Blanca drink as they dance merengue. It is the beer of the braindead posh. Even worse than the already awful beers in Peru.

I knew it was another beer. I had it and was some refreshing, nice colour and features too.

35,5cl can from Peru. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Lightly malty aroma with a light fruitiness. Sweet, but fairly balanced with a hint of dryness and bitterness in the finish. A bit more body than expected and quite drinkable. [Gift from my dad - thanks!]

Yummy, a South American lager in a clear bottle. Pours clear and straw color with light carbonation and a mostly clean finish. Thin and bland, but at least it is refreshing. Arguably better than Corona...

355mL can found in Lima, Peru at both Metro and Vivanda, grocery stores right off Calle Larco in Miraflores around Calle Schell. Barena pours a clear light yellow with soft carbonation. Diminishing soapy head. Thin but persistent. Nose is very fruity and display pineapple, pear, golden apples. Taste is fruity and doughy, no metals, no sting. On the sweeter side with fruity pineapple and yellow apples. Nice sheety lacing remains on the glass. Pretty nice stuff, though it displays so much fruitiness, which some may consider a flaw for lager but it ends up being quite nice.
