(swing top bottle) Hazy, deep amber colour with a loose and slightly tanned foamy head of medium size. Bready cara-malty aroma, slightly toasted with subtle fruity and herbal hoppy notes. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Bready malty taste with caramel, biscuits and shy herbal accents; medium-dry and hearty malt-accented, slightly toasted finish with a tinge of herbal hops. Pleasant stuff. 13.X.10

Bottle: Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, smaller lacy off-white head; moderate toasty-caramelly nose with a very delicate hoppy background and a subtle fruitiness underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet-toasty finish with a delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. Good, but disappointing compared to the other Bären-brews........
