2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
At the Vinarna Hrozen RBESG tasting, sampled from a huge bottle brought by asheft (thanks for bringing it!).
Poured a yellow-golden body with very lively carbonation and a thick chalky head. A pungent nose, bit funky. Brewing cereals. Nice grainy taste, some sweet nuttiness but still not the best beer around.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
on tap at the brewpub, called blonde which makes sense as it wasn’t really a pilsener. murky pale golden with some lacing. unsophisticated, sweet aroma of semi-fermented home brew. nondescript - low bitterness, some vanilla malt, pretty boring

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at the brewpub in Nürnberg. It was called Barfüßer Blonde in the menu. Hazy golden coloured. Rather light and fresh with some hoppiness. Reminds me a bit of one of the better Danish commercial pilseners.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tap at the brewpub. I wonder why this is called "Barfusser pilsener" as they called it "Barfusser Blonde" in the menu card, when I was there. Anyway, I think they are the same. Obviously unfiltered, with a hazy yellow color and rocky head - beautiful. Some sourness in the aroma. Flavor is light and grainy, again with some sourness. Is it intended or is the beer faulty? Easy drinkable and fresh, but not very interesting.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap, at the brewpub. Hazy amber gold, moderate but lasting off white head and gentle condition. Sweet grainy malt and a touch of yeast in the nose, more sweet malt and fruity yeast with some traces of banana developing with time. Lingering grain and fruitiness in the finish and a faint hint of pilsner hops right at the end. Listed in the menu as "Blonde"
