(draught) pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of barnyard, herbal hops, pale malts, earth and grass. flavour is mostly the same, with a light minerally herbal hoppiness and a grainy popcorn finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Part of the Nurnberg Beer Raid 2011. On tap at the brewpub in Germany, pours a gold hazy color with a white head. Aroma is malt, hops and hay. Taste is hay, earthy and malt. Palate is slightly bitter and slightly offensive.

Herber, wenig süßer Antrunk, der sich aber steigert. So ist die Süße im Mittelteil führend, vor der schwachen Herbe. Das Bier ist ziemlich einfach gestrickt und ändert sich nun nicht mehr, die Aromen bleiben. 11/7/7/8//7

At Barfüsser in Nürnberg. Poured hazy golden in colour with creamy off-white head. Fruity aroma. Rather fruity aroma as well with some malty finish. Nice one. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Faint green hints of green vegetables in aftertaste.

Cloudy straw colored beer with a medium white lacing head. Aroma of yeast, some unmatured diacetil, malt and grassy hop. Watery texture with some malt, sourish yeast and hops. Little bit unbalanced and thin but drinkable bavarian beer.
