COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What a feeling of pleasure! Experience this beautifully balanced all malt brew touched by honey flavor and a delicate hint of almond.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber with the tiniest, off-white head. Artificial aroma of caramel and almonds. Light and watery body with an extremely artificial almond aroma. Absolutely no bitterness. Gets more and more horrible the more you drink. Avoid. 020406

False advertising on the label: "What a feeling of pleasure!" - well, that’s a lie! This was barely better than the other "Barkley Sound" beer. Where the heck is that anyway? Apparently it’s a lake in British Columbia I’m guessing that the lake water has more character than ths beer. Slighty sweet cereal aroma, not totally unpleasant. Thin overcarbonated palate, general lack of flavor.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent golden brown colored body and a fair lacing. . The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The weird malty flavor contained notes of honey almond and candy. A horrible one that I would not buy again.

I swear to GOD, I didn’t see "Cold Spring, MN" on the label when I hurriedly purchased this... I’ve Been Glueked!!!! (Thanks for coining that phrase, Carl.) Well, this world-class brewer lives up to its reputation again. This pours with a weak amber body, mostly dead under a head so fast I couldn’t determine its color. Aromas are marzipan, coffeecake, honey, yellow apple... overall sweet and rather strange. Flavor finds a dull lager under Honey-Nut breakfast cereal with a weak cloy, while the palate is thin and dull with a mild grapeskin finish. Sadly, this is one of Gluek’s better beers.

bottle - Pours clear light amber with a very thin head. The aroma was sweet with honey, as was the flavor. It’s thin bodied and other than the honey there really isn’t much going on in the flavor. The finish is also sweet. It’s not terrible, but is quite a ways from being good.

Bottle. Very small white head that mostly diminished, with no lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a golden hue. Nose was honey, sweet, dry and some almond notes. Ditto for the flavor. Dry mouthfeel. Light body. Definitely not one to seek out again. Save yourself time and money.

Bottle. Poured amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished quickly with fair lacing. Light sweet aroma. Light body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration.

Poured from bottle. Head small to nonexistant. Very sweet aroma-just like the title-honey and almonds. Not too flowery of a honey smell tho - just sweet. Tasted at 41F. Tastes thin. Low carbs probably mean very low alcohol content - lower than OK legal for cold sales. Little to no finish. Leaves a coating on the lips tho akin to root beer, but with much less body. I’d rather drink a bad rootbeer!

Somehow managed to try this tonight, out of the clear bottle. It was nasty. It tastes like melted metal over honey and almond. Wow! I just noticed it was a Gluek, Man their beers suck.

Bottle: Had some aroma of honey to it. Light amber body thin tan head. Flavor had an aluminum taste. Also nut, honey and oats in flavor. Body was thin and this beer leaves a stale aftertaste on palate.
