COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style pale ale, brewed with pale and crystal malts and a touch of oats. Copious amounts of Cascade Hops are added late in the boil for a pleasant floral and citrus aroma. A very refreshing ale that may leave you wanting another.

Draft at the 2009 MD Spring Fest. Golden-tan color. Pretty much standard Pale Ale territory. Filtered, and while it does display a soapy hop character, it’s overall pretty simple and thin. Ok session beer, but a little sub-par.

Draft. Pours clear gold with thin, frothy off-white head; short retention and some lacing. Aroma is bread malt, citrus hops, and light caramel. Flavor is sweet malt forward then immediately followed by heavy earthy hops; dry finish. Medium body, low carbonation, and low warmth.

Light orange color. Cascade-y hops and a solid malt back. Not a bad smell, but the taste drops the hops. Mostly malt, not bad.

A little bit stronger than the Dirty Blonde. A step up with the malts and hops. They seem to up the flavors slowly at Barley and Hops.

Location: On tap at the Brew Pub, 9/5/09

Aroma: Caramel, earth, grass, citrus, a bit lacking
Appearance: Golden straw color, bit of lace
Flavor: Sweet malt character, mild hop and fruit characteristics
Palate: Light body, and a bit thin
Overall Impression: Another pretty alright, but unexciting brew. Not one I’d run out for a good, but drinkable and unoffensive.

From draught sample at brewpub. Light hoppy aroma with neutral fruit and mild grassy hops. Pale amber clear with thin lacing head. Medium body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts fairly dry with mild caramel sweetness and a bit of dusty grain. Good hop bitter that lasts. Pretty fresh and nice hoppy after. Could use a little more sweetness.
