3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft pint at restaurant. Yellow color, tall head that sticks around more than most lagers. No skunkiness, which is key for me and lagers. A little smoother and thicker. Taste is mild, but as expected for this type. All around, I though this was okay and would have again in the right circumstance.

pretty average, pretty light. Has a crisp taste to it, bit of a malt bite.

Wife ordered this so I grabbed a few sips. Pale yellow color with thin white head. Aroma of straw, very light malt and some light citrus hops. Taste pale malt sweetness with a touch of grassy hops. Light body and medium carbonation. Decent.

Draft Sample at brewpub. Pours gold with small white head, rimming. Nose is slightly corny with mild butter along with some grainy malts and slight fruit. Taste is light malt, slight butter with a crisp hop ending. Nice lager.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this beer for the first time on draft at Frederick’s Oktoberfest. The aroma is soft but nice, with some citrus, grainy, and fruit hop scents, and a bit of malt. It has a pretty clear, light gold color with a small to average foamy white head. A nice flavor, mostly sweet with some fruity tones, but also a bit sour/bitter for contrast. It is on the lower side of the carbonation spectrum; not dry, some wetness. Overall a good light beer option that has pretty good flavor.

Wow, a light lager! It tastes like Grain Belt Premium, except lighter somehow. Pale yellow, no real scent, watery. Not offensive, but not good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2009 On tap at the MBF. Poured a darker golden color than I wasn’t expecting. I expected this to be a light golden/blonde ale. The taste was more in line with what I was expecting -- it was somewhat light and smooth with a crisp finish free of any offensive hoppy aftertastes. I enjoyed it. The last time I went to B&H Restaurant I didn’t like any of their beers. I will know what to get when I got back. If only they would lower their prices...

This is a very, very nice lager. Very light straw in color, with a white head. Cold and crips like a lager should be, but not so light as to be ineffectual. Simply a nice, clean, tasty lager. Good beer!

Had on tap at brewpub in Frederick, MD, 2/26/12. Pours a light straw color, thin head, small amount of lacing. Not much aroma, a little grassy hops maybe. Thin body with the flavors of grassy hops and some nice malt nuttiness. Finish was hops. Pretty decent blonde ale.
