COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style light lager that anyone can enjoy. Light taste on the palate and designed to please a person tired of the light flavor of a big commercial product beer. From the entry level craft of beer drinker to someone looking for a really refreshing beer, our Blonde lager fits the bill.

This is a very, very nice lager. Very light straw in color, with a white head. Cold and crips like a lager should be, but not so light as to be ineffectual. Simply a nice, clean, tasty lager. Good beer!

UPDATED: APR 29, 2007 Draft... Crystal clear, light yellow lager. Creamy, white head with no lacing. Doesn’t matter; the head lasts forever. The aroma is very subtle. Toffee and straw in the nose with notes of white pepper and a hint of pear. Malty with plenty of malty caramel flavor and hopped just enough for balance. Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Short, bitter, clean finish.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2009 On tap at the MBF. Poured a darker golden color than I wasn’t expecting. I expected this to be a light golden/blonde ale. The taste was more in line with what I was expecting -- it was somewhat light and smooth with a crisp finish free of any offensive hoppy aftertastes. I enjoyed it. The last time I went to B&H Restaurant I didn’t like any of their beers. I will know what to get when I got back. If only they would lower their prices...

Draft Sample at brewpub. Pours gold with small white head, rimming. Nose is slightly corny with mild butter along with some grainy malts and slight fruit. Taste is light malt, slight butter with a crisp hop ending. Nice lager.

Had this beer for the first time on draft at Frederick’s Oktoberfest. The aroma is soft but nice, with some citrus, grainy, and fruit hop scents, and a bit of malt. It has a pretty clear, light gold color with a small to average foamy white head. A nice flavor, mostly sweet with some fruity tones, but also a bit sour/bitter for contrast. It is on the lower side of the carbonation spectrum; not dry, some wetness. Overall a good light beer option that has pretty good flavor.

Had on tap at brewpub in Frederick, MD, 2/26/12. Pours a light straw color, thin head, small amount of lacing. Not much aroma, a little grassy hops maybe. Thin body with the flavors of grassy hops and some nice malt nuttiness. Finish was hops. Pretty decent blonde ale.

Draft pint at restaurant. Yellow color, tall head that sticks around more than most lagers. No skunkiness, which is key for me and lagers. A little smoother and thicker. Taste is mild, but as expected for this type. All around, I though this was okay and would have again in the right circumstance.

Location: On tap at the Brew Pub, 9/5/09

Aroma: Grain, light fruit, apple/pear, straw
Appearance: Clear blonde color, very light
Flavor: Light flavor, but tasty, good fruity/grainy character, and mild hop character as well
Palate: Clean and thin, light body
Overall Impression: This beer was OK, had a decent amount of flavor for the style, my qualm with it would be that I found it to be thin and light, but other then that it was pretty decent, not a great beer, but drinkable.

Tap. Pours clear gold with a spare, fizzy white head, low retention and flat. Aroma is heavy malt (grainy, meal, cereal), light hops (spicy), and light esters (fruity) with notes of corn. Flavor is heavy malt (grainy, meal, cereal), light hops (spicy), and light esters (fruity) with notes of corn. Light body, low warmth and creaminess, medium carbonation with a dry finish.

Wife ordered this so I grabbed a few sips. Pale yellow color with thin white head. Aroma of straw, very light malt and some light citrus hops. Taste pale malt sweetness with a touch of grassy hops. Light body and medium carbonation. Decent.
