Taster on tap at the brewpub. Labeled 4%, and "Session Brown Ale". Clear darker red color. Khaki head. Row of lace. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate sweet, lightly spicy. Moderate bitter. Decent, flavorful session brown. Good nutty flavor, hint of chocolate. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2013 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with faint orange highlights and a large creamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was dark fruits, roasty malts and cola. The flavor was sweetish and malty with faint wood and tobacco followed by dark fruits, malted milk and cola. Medium length malty finish with lingering wood, fruit and cola. Medium body and smooth. Decent.
