Pours a deep dark brown. Aromas of chocolate, with hints of nut and coffee. Flavor is a nice creamy chocolate with a bittersweet aftertaste.

The above discription is very good!!! This is my favorite of Barley Brown’s varieties, unfortunately, they don’t brew it often. If they have it when you’re there, be sure to grab a pint.

Dark mahogany color with a little head and small lacing. The aroma is very sweet malts & some caramelized sugar. The flavor is very smoky & malty with just a tiny amount of hops to balance, very tasty scottish.
