Draft @ the Brewpub. Pours a deep golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor with some bitter hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

GABF 2010. pretty light APA across the board in my opinion. Grassy herbal hops, little hop bite, soapy, lighter in mouthfeel & flavor IMO. Also had the poor timing of following Cascade sours, so this may be coming in lighter than it should

Growler from Barley Brown’s brewpub.Aroma is a mild floral boquet and sweet malt. Pours a cloudy amber with adequate medium white head.Taste is wonderfully balanced mix of citrus (grapefruit) and sweet malt. I’m not a big IPA fan, but this pale ale has my vote for just the right bit of hops, not too sharp. Good body and nice mellow finish. On the whole, a different beer taste for me, but quite enjoyable. I’ll definitley be back for more!

Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured a burn orange with a white head. Aroma of faint, floral hops with sweet malts. Foamy, thick, well-carbonated palate that hosted an awesome balance of floral hops and bready malts. Zesty finish of peppery and resinous hops.

A fresh growler from the brewpub. Very bold piney aroma. Pours very cloudy amber with a modest head and lacings. Taste is bitter resinous hops with a funky character. Some soapiness, a little sour, and astringent. The malts play a fairly minor role in this beer. Good body for the style and hop levels verge on IPA territory. Overall an unusual beer but quite enjoyable. Drinkability is medium and I would guess the abv is about 6%. Two pints did the trick for me.

A good well balanced NW style APA. Lovely floral and citrus hops hanging around the nose, strong biscuity maltiness with notes of caramel sweetness, does very well complimenting the citrus fruitiness in every sip. Nicely done.

On tap at the pub. Pours a lovely, hazed goldenish yellow with a nice white head. Mellow, balanced citrus and hopped up aroma. Smells like it should. Flavor is actually overwhelmingly damn good! Very straight forward pale, hopped up throughout with a balanced sweet malt kick. I’d honestly put this up there with Dale’s...even easier to drink it is. Nice, medium to full body, fairly carbonated. Not much to say as we’ve all had a pale ale, but I really enjoyed this!

On tap at BB’s in Baker City, OR--Poured a hazy golden-orange hue with a medium white head. Nice citrusy floral hops nose with a decent malt spine. Mild and refreshing; grainy and full flavored. One of the brewery’s best beers.

On tap at brewpub. Poured a nice cloudy full dark yellow color with a thick billowy white head. Aroma is great with a strong fresh hoppiness that was equal parts floral and piney. The palate was a bit lighter than expected, but it didn’t hinder the brew, and rather made it more drinkable. The taste was citrusy just short of all-out grapefruitiness, and a floral finish comes out nicely and is supported by just enough malt. Very good.
