Courtesy of jayg. Thanks buddy. Pours clear gold with thin white head. The aroma has a quick punch of grapefruit hops that is sweetened by maltiness. In the flavor the grapefruit hop bitterness hits first. Slowly malt sweetness builds in against the hops toward about midway. As the finish approaches the bitterness re-doubles in strength. There is a hint of sweeter grapefruit hop flavor here and there.

Bottle... Clear golden ale with a creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is a union of juicy pink grapefruit and tropical fruits. Medium to heavy citric bitterness in the flavor. Medium-bodied and dry with fizzy carbonation. Bitter, grape fruity, dry finish. I’m fairly certain jayg provided this one for the Tampa crew to try!

On tap at brewpub. Iced-tea color with a thin white head that left lacing. Nice aroma - mostly grapefruit, but some fresh floral aspects round it out. A lot of grapefruit in the taste and the hop character is strong and lingers on the palate for a while. Well done.

I was here with a group from work so unable to take descriptive notes, but never have I tasted a brew whose flavor so failed to meet the quality of its aroma. the aroma is rich and dimensional, hitting several right notes. color clear, head moderate in size and modest in duration. a little flat and oily in the mouth. But the flavor--unbalanced harsh metallic bitter, almost nothing I could connect with the rich aspects of the aroma. It has won awards, and ratings are good on the site, so i don’t know what was wrong with the pint I had.

On Tap at the Brewpub pours out a amber topped with a off white head. A nice hop aroma and tast. A classic IPA.

Pours a nice deep amber color. Aromas of hops/hops/citrus. Strong hop flavors with malts and a dry finish.

On Tap at the brewpub. A hazy orange witha medium off white head. Lots of citrusy hops here in the aroma. Flavor was again very citrusy, orange, grapefruit and pale malts to round it out. Rather dry and thin feel. Quite tasty.

Tap at brew pub:Cloudy dark gold color. It seems you can see some yeast floating around in there. The lacing is spotty and has a little more than average carbonation. Strong aromas of pine needles as if you walked into the forest and reached down to the earth and grabbed a handful of pine needles and cones and put them in a blender. It has a great hoppy bitter taste. The body is much thicker than the pale ale, almost syrupy. Yummalicious.

Hazy amber with a foamy head and sparse spotty lacing. Orange citrus in the nose with some crystal malts. Herbal hops and sweet mango. Bitter orange flavor with some mango and herbs. Almost a touch of grapefruit. Good mouthfeel. Fuzzy or furry. Nice hop finish.

Hazy orange, small head and light lacing. Nose is full of cascade, nice and up front, simple and good smelling. The flavor has a nice bitterness that herbaly blends with the sweetness. Finishes with a thick malty body. This is pretty good.
