I would agree with ’jackstraw’ a little think to be an ale, But I still enjoyed it very much. Its a nice beer to have with a light meal.

My favorite of all the Barley Creek Beers. very flavorful, and goes really well with one of their buffalo burgers. some batches have more molasses than others, but overall well balanced

Much better than I expected it to be. It has a nice smokey brown flavor and a lighter than expected color. Also, a sweet and smokey aroma. I’m a fan - and now I see that it’s fairly local to boot.

Nice malty aroma. Classic brown ale profile. Reddish brown with a quickly fading white head. Brown Ales never seem to be rated fairly. This is solid and way better than the 38 rating it has as I am rating it. Though slightly too sweet on the fruity side of the palate it is very nutty and malty from fore to finish. Very well done brown ale. Thanks to Lou18 for this.
