Trip99 (2), Tannersville, Pennsylvania, USA does not count May 10, 2002 This beer as explained to me is aimed at converting National Brew drinkers...and is only a bridge to the more flavorful offerings at Barley Creek. A nice bridge serving its purpose...Ask for it cold, but the flavor is better a little warmer Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Feb 25, 2007 Cleaner and tastier than a macro...not that that’s saying much, but it is at least cleaner than many brewpub light beers that try to add flavor and end up being harsh or grainy. Not going to slam it for being what it is, it’s good enough for a hot day, a sight better than Coors or the like, especially in the palate, which is not fizzy or harsh as is so common with light beers. iratherbe (255), Marlton, New Jersey, USA Sep 19, 2005 Part of a 7 selection sampler at BCBC. Very clear pale amber yellow color, a somewhat yeasty / malty taste and after taste for a light beer. Slight hops on the nose. No fan of light / very pale lagers, but this was well done. tzakiel (27), USA May 31, 2002 For a lite beer I guess this is fine... but it’s kind of like paying extra for a fancy budwieser. It does serve one good purpose though, and that is to ’convert’ regular beer drinkers to the more interesting styles that BCBC makes. I’m glad I live so near BCBC! Check out the other styles. beerbill (1248), Laurel, New York, USA Aug 16, 2005 On tap at BCBC. Graded in the context of other "light" beers, this is one of the best I have had. Nice golden yellow color. Short-lived whitish head. Slightly fruity hop aroma. Excellent thirst quencher. Barley Creek is brewing some very good stuff these days!
