Very hoppy with a nice orangish color. From the sample I tasted, it was very good. I will try it again soon.

Poured a reddish amber color with a fluffy light tan head. APA aroma of pure centennial hops. Hoppy bitter taste. Pretty one dimensional

This seemed like too much of a gimmik at first glance but I did try the beer. The flavor is mellow but strong. I couldnt find anything in particular to distinguish this beer though, except the hops.

Dark red to copper in color. Very hoppy aroma. This beer is all about Centennial hops. Tastes is almost overwhelmingly hops. For a hop-head like myself a wonderful thing it is. Good lingering bitter finish. Yummy.

very dark copper w/ french vanilla head which lingers
a pretty good hit of centenial hops and decently balanced
I enjoyed it on tap and from bottle.

I was really excited for this beer since barley creek has some high quality beers, but the extra hops were just too much for me, an extremely dry tasting beer.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2003 I like this sort of single-hop ale. Quite solidly bitter, with subdued floral/herbal notes. The malt isn't too obtrusive, but it's got a nice body. Deep gold, with a very scanty head. Note added 12/2/03: you can get this cask-conditioned at the brewery. It's wonderful, smooth and resinous/floral. Two extra overall points for this!

I too was expecting overdone hop character in this. Still a very good IPA but nothing compared to hopdevil, celebration, liberty, etc etc.

With a name like ’Superhop’ it has me expecting over the top hop flavor like a Weyerbacher Hop Infusion. Superhop is not over the top in hopiness, but satisfied this hop-head.
