I have an issue with the last two ratings because this beer was retired 7 years ago and reformulated as "rescue IPA." It was brought back last September as a triple IPA. No one should sample an IPA that is years old. I probably am more biased because I helped reformulate what is the new version of this beer. I asked Joe (new brewer) for a hoppy wheatwine and this has lots of centennials which go well and add a nice dry character with the wheaty base. Very floral as far as hop flavors go and cascades dominate the aroma. 13.1% alcohol by volume. The centennial and cascade blend is a bit standard but the scottish yeast seems to have really accentuated their floral qualities. This is now on draft but was available in bombers during the holidays.
