3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Caramel and biscuits with some diacetyl butterscotch aroma. Clear light amber under white wisps and a ring. Biscuity malt flavour with a touch of bread crust and some peanuts. Diacetyl is obvious, but not offensive. Moderate bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Quaffable.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Brewpub
Pours golden with light head which disappeared after a few seconds.
For some reason, felt stronger than the 4.8% alcool. Somewhat of a citrusy finish that I canít understand. Not a great beer. Not a Pale Ale as suggested on the label!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
341mL bottle from a sixer at my local LCBO (expanded their craft selection and gave a lot of space for them in the frige which was kind of surreal). Pours a nice deepish gold with a tiny white cap. The aroma is pleasant, pale straw malts, toffee, tangerine. Flavour is also quite nice, esters upfront of tangerine and peach, with some dry hop presence and crisp malts. Slightly astringent but mostly sweet lingering aftertaste. Fresh pack so I guess this is at its peak, but Iím glad I didnít have to give this another painfully sarcastic rating about how much the OCB sucks sometimes for boring and unimaginative beers. But this is a pleasant little obscure Ontario brew. Worth picking up.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
341ml bottle from the LCBO Clear old-gold color with tinge of red, pale yellow highlights. Lots of head, fine bubbles, medium fine carbonation. Nose is kind of sharply yeasty & faintly sweet. Taste initially a bit yeasty but quite quenching and a little nice hop bite. Solid malt body that is not sticky. Slightly heavier than medium feel. Long plae-malty finish with nice hop bitterness, a fresh sweet-grass quality, At first I felt it kind of leaned to a macro micro, but itís actually a decently made wonderfully simple EPA.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
341 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a fairly clear orange gold with modest white head, some retention. Nose of spices and light fruit. Flavour is also spicy with a real citrus hop kick. Lingering dry spicy finish. Fizzy carbonation. Wouldnít call this a pale ale, but itís ok. Just ok.

1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. I donít know what it is, but something about the hops in this one really turn me off. Decent hops and barley to begin, but a sour, astringent, slightly citrusy finish I find pretty repugnant.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
341ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a nice amber, with a touch of malt in the scent. A touch of hop bitterness, but not much. A "beginners" pale ale.
