341 ml bottle, 4.5% ABV consumed 7 days after bottling. Gotta give them credit for putting the bottling date so visibly on the cap. Pours golden yellow with a slightly above average white head. Initial impression from the smell coming from the bottle is: "is that vomit?". Aroma of sulfur, barley malt, floral hops. Yeah this is not all that great. For those wondering--my RB account is not named after this beer. It’s actually named after a mountain/city from the old-school game "Might and Magic".....

341 ml bottle from the lcbo. Pours clear golden with white head that reduces to a minimal surface film. The aroma has honeyed cereals and light citrus hopping with a bit of extract twang. There might even be some wheatiness but the hops are slightly oxidized which is discouraging. As it warms it becomes distinctly pea soup, which really detracts from the aroma score. The flavour is a mixed bag of the aroma, is has elements of a quality brew but there is also some stewed veggie issues and some really strong hints that this is extract based. It seemed fine when it was really cold but the flaws really came out as it warned.

Bottle: looks like a typical corporate lager in the glass with the exception of a decent puffy cap that lasts well and laces the glass. Hints of cooked cereals and wet straw hops in the aroma - smooth malty body with just a hint of northern brewer hops. A fair light beer but not worth going out of your way for

Bottle 341 ml
Aroma: grainy, husky with slight nutty backing. Hint of honey at end.
Look: nice depth of gold with medium lighter top. Slight showings of rings. 3-
Taste/Body/Palate: medium bodied. Dark soil, bark , strong nutty cellar feel. Medium oily feel. Lacking dryness to be German pils , wrong set of hops to be Czech. Nutty musky character is overpowering for such delicate style.

341mL bottle from the LICKBO. Pours a clear yellow with a white surface film. The aroma is really bland, pale malts I guess with some green apple, peanuts and emptiness. Flavour is alright, the same probably-unintentional sweet fruity aspects with a hint of graininess. A bit over-carbonated and void of redeeming qualities, but not offensive to the palate. There’s a sour citrus element to the finish that could be super old hops. I feel like this brewery is in a fiercely competitive situation with Port Credit Brewing for the title of Most Mind-Numbingly Boring Brewery In Ontario.

Bouteille 341ml.

from bottle. pours a golden yellow to straw colour with a half decent head atop that promptly dissapates. Very light hop aroma. Not much else going on there. Tame lager flavour withe some light bitterness, it lingers but not for long.

A golden colour with a coarse frothy head but that goes pretty quickly and no lacing. Aroma, not a lot but some hops and a bit of grassyness. Taste a bit of hops and a little bitterness then something metallic, not unpleasant though. Styled as a lager & 4.5% it’s OK, if not challenging.

341 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. 27JL12.

App.: Clear deep golden with a so-so white head. Aroma: Icky corn/grain, vaguely malty, toasted wheat, sorta tangy in a strange way, Shredded Wheat, not much in the way of yeast or hops character. Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence. Flav.: Toasted grains, a touch of grassy hops, clean, meh; dry with minimal bitterness and a grain/cereal, slightly tangy? finish.

Boooooooring.

341ml bottle. Pours a clear golden body, small white head with almost no retention. Grainy aroma, caramel, bread, yeast, floral hops. Taste is malty, with a good dose of hops and a nice breadiness, herbal tones. Pretty light body, thin with average carbonation.
