Draught at Volo. Pours a clear yellow with an average size diminishing white head. Mild aroma of light malt, fruit and some hops. Simple flavour of grain, light hops and a light bitter finish. Light to average bodied. For a Light beer from this brewery, It’s better then I expected -- not great but not bad -- it’s easy to drink.

2008-09-16. Crisp golden yellow body with a decent off-white head. (3+) Surprisingly hoppy aroma, wheat and a brief fruity hint at lime/citrus notes. Tart wheat in the flavour, light bitterness. Sharp grassy hops in the finish linger a bit. Hop forward with a light underlying pale malt character. Average palate suits it. Rather refreshing after an 18km bike ride down Yonge Street! On tap at Cafe Volo, Toronto

On tap at Volo, Toronto. Lager-like appearance, gold but not blonde/sparkling. Hoppy, golden malt aroma with fruit, citrus. Dry, hoppy flavor. Light malt. Clean and crisp, though the malt is simple. Good hops for sure. A touch of caramel and grapefruit. Dry, hoppy, bitter finish with lots of hops. Astringent but no hop aroma. A simple, clean beer with strong hops. Not so interesting. Possibly good with food.

Enjoyed half a bottle at the brewery. Doug, the new bremaster is getting good amount of bitterness with this lunchtime sessionable. Amarillo, fuggles, hallentrau, and Saaz hops. Light mouthfeel, even a bit thin. Understated carbonation, like a cask and hope to have it on cask. A light pale really. Available only at the brewery. Light colour, a touch of white lace. Faint c-hop, you get the amarillo.
