Colore giallo opaco con una bella schiuma bianca.Aroma agrumato e lievemente speziato(coriandolo?).Sapore delicato di agrume, dolce.Corpo spesso.Abbastanza rinfrescante.Deliziosa ma devo riprovarla.

Spices and wheat bread in aroma. The flavor is spices up front and wheat bread and esters/yeast as well. Relatively complex for a witbier, very good take on the style.

As the name of the beer says, it is a very fresh beer. I usually drink it on summer. It is very light, also due to its low alcoholic graduation and easy to drink. I’ve drunk it very often at bir&fud restaurant in Rome, with a pizza. Absolutely not complex and very refreshing.

Bottle. Light hazy yellow hue with a fizzy mostly white head. Tad yeasty in the aroma; lightly citric; touch of spice and light yeastiness is the dominant attribute. Hint of flowers and coriander. Light body, and bubbly carbonation. Not bad, but not great.

Hazy yellow beer with a big frothy white head that leaves good lace. Aroma is spicy with some citrus rind. The flavor is very nicely spicy with lots of citrus rind bitterness. There is a mild tartness and the beer is very nicely dry but has a wee bit of honey in there as well. Pretty nice witibier.

Bottiglia da 75 all’Altrimenti Braceria di Mele. Wit dignitosa, ma sinceramente Barley offre di molto meglio.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of wheat, yeast, and some citrus. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small to medium-sized, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Full of tiny and small particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of wheat, pale malt, yeast, and slight citrus. Medium body. Tingly, then dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Wheat, yeast, and citrus finish is dry. Very boring.

Nice clear crisp golden coloured body with an orange hue and a thin white head that tops the beer nicely. Aroma of citrus, coriander seed, curacao (strong), malt, caster sugar, apples and pears. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a lot of coriander seed and curacao at first. Some light banana and yeastiness afterwards and a thin wheat and mellow sugar flavour at the end. Aftertaste is somewhat dry from straw and grass, a bit sweet and fairly nice. Overall, a decent beer - not amazing, but good to sample. I’d say this is a mix between a wit and a saison, but it’s more of a wit. I sampled this 37.5 cL ’split’ bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Alexandria (Old Town), Virginia on 13-June-2010 for a cool (not really) US$14 sampled at home in Washington on 03-July-2010.

Bottle at nimbleprop DC tasting, 6 March 2010. Straw colour. Some floaties. Thin and a little tart. Maybe a touch of spice but nothing really grabbed me. I’ve had more interesting (and better) beers from this brewery.

No longer in stock where I think I got it. A dark blue 750 bottle. Pours pale yellow with a frothy 3-finger off-white head. Smells like pale malt with a touch of citrus. Near medium body with feisty carbonation. There’s a lot of citrusy aspect - maybe coriander? I don’t get exactly lemon or orange, but it’s citrus. Actually has a much sturdier mouthfeel than many wits. It’s a good beer. In California an expensive beer. Which will keep me from buying another unless I’m in Italy. However, the beer is good enough that I have no regrets on the purchase. The body holds up.
