BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2012
Brown 500ml bottle found close to the Polish Centre in Hammersmith, London. Best before date had been rubbed out, so most likely brewed to be consummed before I drank it last night (26th Dec 2006). Golden with a fine white head, it had an aroma which hinted at barley and wheat (not sure I know the difference really). the taste was just like the smell, but even weaker. The mouthfeel was also poor. I have tried a few Polish beers now, and have more in the garage to review, this has been the worst so far.

can from Michau - dzieki! Clear pale yellow, small white head. Fruity nose. Very watery, hardly any flavour at all, strange dry palate, shy malt and hop flavours in the far background.

Cam from supermarket in Hungary. Yellow color with small white head. Corny aroma. Taste, again corn with weak bitter finish. Crap.

Hungary 2010, can. Dark golden amber with a bubbly head. Floral grain aroma with a bigger body than expected. Pretty malty sweet with a large noble hop presence.

(500 ml can, Kaunas) Watery crap, no more no less; some hints of flavour, some hints of skunkiness, but what else can you expect for 51 cents on-sale at BravoAlco? :)
