One of the more decent beers from Barley Island. The aroma is floral with a bit of lemony citrus. Medium bodied and a bit dry. Overall, a balanced experience.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber. Medium sized white head. Mild grapefruit flavor. Lots of caramel and citrus malts. Citrus mouthfeel. Really more malty then hoppy so it makes for a unique IPA. Easy drinking. Pretty tasty, but only average compared to the many great IPA’s out there.

From a bottle to a duvel tulip. Pours a hazy dark orange with 2 inches of off white head that shrinks down with decent lacing. Aroma is grassy, citrus, and bready malt. Taste is very mild citrus, bread, caramel, and a bit of lemon. Thin to medium mouthfeel and higher carbonation. Not a bad beer, just not an ipa. More like a pale ale fused with a mild ale.
