COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our American IPA has an intense hop aroma and flavor. The hop character is citrusy, floral, and fruity (orange/grapefruit) from the use of Summit hops. The complex malt flavor profile supports the strong hop flavor. BarFly is a continuation of our tavern theme. Every tavern has its share of barfly’s - people who visit frequently.

Beautiful deep amber pour with a nice fluffy off-white head. Great lacing results! Very inviting aroma of sweet grapefruit, candy, and pine. Full, chewy mouthfeel. It starts sweet with caramel and sugared grapefruit and nicely transitions to a pine and bitter citrus finish. A very good IPA.

Bottle via trade with Tim - thanks! Hazy orange pour with a smaller foamy white head. This bottle is a little old, and the cardboard elements are coming out. I can tell its an earthy/malty brew, and probably had a little more floral hop element back when it was fresher.

Pours a dark amber color with a huge, slightly off white head that leaves nice lacing. Had a big earthy aroma, with caramel in the background and slight notes of citrus. Was real well balanced, and had a slight saltiness to it. Was kind of bitter on the tongue, and was more so on the aftertaste. Really enjoyed this one.

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. It poured a hazy copper with a frosty white head. A pleasant, smooth hop aroma and taste.

Barfly has a nice hazy color with a rocky head and a very slight citrus aroma. Smooth tasting IPA with a subtle bitter after taste!

Pours a clear to hazy glowing orange copper with a thick, creamy off-white head that settles to a ring and leaves some fair lacing. Nose involves toasted malt and bubblegum notes, hearty pine and lighter citrus notes, some apricot, spicy hop notes, caramel, and some herbal tea. More sweet than bitter on the flavor, but it works. Clean, not too active on the carb, with a nice dry bitterness on the end. Maybe the lack of mind-blowing bitterness has held the ratings back on this, but the layered hop aromatics really make this a good IPA.

Light amber color out of the tap. Thin off white head. Big fresh floral and fruity hop nose. Flavors of apricot, orange juice, candied grapefruit rind and some pine hop flavors, all over just enough of a malty backbone to support it. Sweet, thinish hop head ipa.

Nice and clean, crisp taste. Unfortunately I don't have a glass or I think the aroma would open up a lot more. Really enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark orange, rust color. Aromas of hops, citrus, pine. Minimal head. Typical IPA flavors of tangerine & grapefruit. Nice, clean, refreshing finish.

Boozedude nailed it a few comments below, so I will echo his sentiments: Pours clear dirty orange, nice pine hoppy aroma, taste is pretty good, everything you want in an ipa.. But nothing that really stands out, still, better then the average thats for sure..

Mmm! Incredible hop bouquet on the nose, floral and pine hints. A little bitterness on the finish with a nice carbon kick in the tail. Decent citrus body with a strong zest and malt balance. Loved it.
