3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy golden color, with a little lace. Carbonation is about average. Medium body, and kind of a floral flavor typical of witbier but a bit more watery than others I’ve had in the past.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This brew pours a semi cloudy straw yellow colour with a nice head that has aromas of coriander, spice and a little cloves. Mouthfeel is light and it finishes very smooth with a soft hop drop. Overall tastey, i hear its better than last years batch.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Barley Island Sheet Metal Blonde is an cloudy yellow color with a quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is faint with orange, citrus and to borrow from Davinci, "gingerbread like" spiced qualities. The flavor is light with gingerbread notes. The finish is very light and very nice. I enjoy this beer, but find the taste a bit strange!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy pale straw color, medium head, little lacing. Aroma is raw wheat, mild orange, baking spices and vanilla... gingerbread like. Flavor is much the same, returning to that gingerbread character I noticed in the nose. There is some mildly tart citrus in there as well. Finish is mildly floral/spicy noble hops. Mouthfeel is watery with a soft finish. This would be good in the summer if served slightly cold on a very hot day.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hazy straw color with a small white frothy head. Aroma of sweet oranges, wheat, coriander, spices and a small amount of vanilla. Really awkward flavor. Like wet wheat flower and orange juice. Pancakey. This is just plain awkward and kinda gross.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy medium gold with a bright white head. Sweet banana bread, with some almonds. This is a pleasant, sweet smelling brew. The taste is typical wit with some flat Sprite and corriander notes. There is a little bit of bread crust with some bananas in the finish. A decent wit, but pretty boring.

eh...wheatbeer is not my thing. the spice adds a different dimension, but if i’m going to have a wheatbeer, i’ll stick with gumballhead.

Bottle. Nice beer although hardly an attempt to regurgitate a Hoegaarden verbatim. I’d hold this against them if they advertised this as a Wit -- but they don’t (it’s just Ratebeer’s classification).
A little darker than a true Wit but with nice, prominent foam. Flavors are lightly citrus spiced like a wit but very malty/bready. Sort of a bready witbier. Interesting choice and well-crafted. I liked it!
