Pours a deep copper with a thin, filmy white head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty with hints of biscuits, candy, and bananas. Flavor is bready and yeasty with a lot of sugary sweetness with hints of bananas, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, and some sweet alcohol. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very tasty brew.

Dark oak pour; somewhat empty in appearance. Vinous surprises of fig jam and juicy black cherries on the nose, burying graham crackers and brown sugar in a winey syrup. Hints of moist black bread, clove and expanding zesty spice. Flavor brings a bit of cinnamon and bubblegum into the fold of browned banana and bitter cocoa, oily hazelnuts, and sweetbread. Sprightly and brisk in the mouth; getting impish and watery toward the acidic and tannic finish. Simple; favorable and pleasing for the most part.
