Commercial description This beer is an extreme version of our Little Barley Bitter. Maltier, hoppier (featuring the very English Brambling Cross and Whitbred Goldings hops you rarely see in the USA), and brewed with nearly 50% floor-malted, artisan malt imported from England. This beer is the closest thing to an English ESB you’re going to find in a pub that isn’t located in the British Isles. The brewer markets this same or near-same product by more than one names. This can be the result of a brewer distributing this beer under different names in different countries, or the brewer simply changing the name, but not the recipe at different points in time.
