Classic pale ale recipe with a twist! Bold American hops are complimented by Kaffir lime leaves. The leaves were added to the boil as well as the fermenter.

On tap at the brewpub, the aroma is citrus hops with some nice lime that blends well. Taste is some lime, a bit of malt and some citrus hops, almost gives off a tad soapy taste, not bad though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this on tap at the brew pub a couple months back. Really good beer. Kaffir lime pairs perfectly with the citrusy hop combination. Relatively understated, but this is a beer I could drink all night.

On tap at Winterfest 2013. Brown pour with limited head. I was warned about this one before trying it and yes the taste was odd and kind of watery palate.

Kind of soapy sweet aroma, citrus. Taste is a bit understated, but overall not a bad beer.

Pour on tap at Winterfest 2012, pour is slightly hazy yellow with white head, aroma has notes of biscuit, floral and lime, hints of perfume like leafy notes as well, very intriguing! Taste is a nice mix of perfumy lime, with hints of biscuit, some cracker notes, slight citrusy hops as well, overall really tastes like fresh lime. Nice.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Tap at the brewpub. Clear copper pour with a beautiful foamy white head. Sharp perfume aroma. Medium palate. Taste is perfume and floral. Different kind of beer, this one.

Winterfest, 2012. Mild hops. Citrus from the hops, but I do not perceive any lime at all. Light palate, which works well in this beer.

Minnesota Winterfest 2012. Copper color with no head. Massive perfume aroma. Very strong perfumy flavor. Almost chemical-like. Very vinous.
