CALORIES: 150 ABV: 5% COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Golden straw color and mildly hopped with German Hallertau, Tettnang and Spalt varieties. A single decoction mashing technique was employed to tame the under modified Pilsner malt used in the recipe, resulting in a malt forward flavor profile. The hallmark of this style is its unique position between an ale and a lager - fermented cooler than an ale but warmer than a lager thereby creating a beer that exhibits characteristics of both beer families. Crisp and refreshing like a lager yet complex and slightly fruity like an ale, this beer is enjoyed in the traditional straight sided Kölsch glass.
