The aroma is similar to an English bitter but much lighter and brighter. Clean light bitter hop and malt. So light it is like a simple barley wash. Very good with crisp and clean flavors. Smooth with no flaws. A true session beer.

Tap @ Barley Johns. Pours a clear, dark golden appearance with a white head and nice lacing. Toasty, bready malty, caramel, a bit earthy aroma. Dark caramel, a bit watery, straw, grassy, lightly bitter flavor.

On tap at BJ, straight middle of the road beer for me, while it was quite nice and very balanced it didnt do anything for me, felt like drinking extra calories for nothing.

On tap at the brewpub - I was in the mood for something light and malty, and this fit the bill perfectly. Pours brown with a small light tan head. Nose is nutty and lightly sweet, with a touch of floral hops. Taste is roughly the same, with a real smooth breadiness coming through. The whole thing is as easy drinking as expected, and I could probably drink an entire growler of this. Smooth and medium-bodied, with a nice carbonation level.

On tap at Barley Johns. Pours clear amber with a slim tight soapy head that leaves a noticable lacing. Aroma is light hops malt and yeast. Taste is crisp malty with a bitter hop finish. Palate is thin and crisp with a gritty dry finish. Easy drinker.
