Oatmeal Stouts generally use 5-10% Oatmeal in their mash. Ours uses 15%! Irish Stouts are generally bright and slightly acidic – we used a little acidulated malt to brighten it up. Roasty, rich, a little bitter, and very drinkable. Perfect for celebrating St. Pat’s with something other than commercial and/or green beers. Enjoy!

Pours a very dark brown with a medium, brown head. Aroma is rich and rather sweet with chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is a lot of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Smooth, rich body with little carbonation. Very tasty.
