On tap at Barley Johns. Pours copper orange with a soapy kahki head that fades to a thin film. Aroma has malt and a breadiness with a faint sweet spice. Taste is spice and bread (rye) with the traditional october spices. Palate is medium and sticky with a chaulky dry finish.

Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma is malty with some hops. Flavor is very much sweet caramel malts with some fruitiness and hops. Alcohol is mostly masked. Medium body with medium carbonation. A very good brew.

Sampled during ABR ’07 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pours a semi-clear golden pale brew with a thin off-white head that has some good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweetened caramel malt and flowery hop character. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with flavors of biscuit and caramel malt with a touch of sweet candi sugar. Finish is quite malty with some flowery hop character.

Draft at the brewpub. Sweet, toasted, biscuity malt aroma. Pours a nice copper with a small head. Decent lacing. Toasted malt, slightly sweet with some nice grassy hops on the finish. Medium bodied. Good Oktoberfest.

This is easily the best oktoberfest I have had this year! Great job Colin. Pours a nice deep golden with a small wispy head. Nice sweet roasted malt and a light floral hoppiness on the nose. Great creamy mouthfeel with a good dose of roasted malt. Great beer.

This is one of the better oktoberfests that I have had. There grainy taste that is in there beers works well with this one.

Extremely fruity, orange nose. Golden/amber. Deep resinous grape. Extremely drinkable, smooth, vigorous. Nice. (on tap at Barley Johns)
