COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Elevated hop and alcohol levels preset a wonderfully complex British-style IPA. A more subtle presentation of hops is balanced with a toasty malt sweetness.

Full bodied with a trainload of hops ~ Northern Brewer, East Kent Goldings, and the rest are a secret. Long hoppy finish, balanced beautifully by malt flavor.

Sampled on tap at Barley Johns. Pours an amber color with white head. Bitter, caramel, malty flavors. Doesn’t taste like an IPA to me...

Different ipa for me. Some citrus but really light on hops. It was very smooth with nice malt sweetness.

Tap at brewery. Pours a nice copper with lasting white head. Good lacing on glass. Aroma is weak bitter hops, flavor is similar. Meh.

Sample at Brew Pub. Decent, but not the best IPA - especially after just drinking their IIPA.

Tap. Pours Clear dark amber, large beige creamy head, great lacing, great retention. Aroma is quite weak with herbal and spruce notes. Flavor its about three same along with caramel and toasted bread. Light sweet, quite bitter. Medium body.

Tap @ Barley Johns. Pours a dark golden appearance with a nice creamy khaki head. Dull, cooked veggie, herbal hoppy aroma. DMS, corny, floral, crappy bitter flavor. Just off and not good. Little hop presence which makes the DMS forefront.

Growler pour. Amber colored, small white head. Pretty heavy body, quite sweet. Not overly hoppy. Very drinkable beer but not much of an IPA.

on tap at BJ, you might have convinced me this was from cask because of the temp served and mouthfeel, not a hop bomb here, but a super balanced creamy ipa

Has a weird skunky bitter scent, pours an interesting brown/tea color. Taste is malty and caramel bitterness, decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
