Hazy amber/orange with spare lacing. Heavy fruit; apricots and peaches. Floral hops and caramel. Doesn’t do it for me.

On tap at Barley Johns brewpub. Hazy deep amber with a creamy beige cap. Aroma is hoppy and fruity with a touch of resin and some sweet malt to provide balance. Taste is sweet and citrusy with grapefruit, light pine, caramel and light chocolate. Nice bitterness on the ass end, well done IPA.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Foxbush (761) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 26, 2011
After finding Barley Johns this was a pleasant surprise. The IPA was enjoyed in a 16 oz glass at the brewpub. The ale poured with clear dark amber and small head. There was lacing with floral citrus flavors. Smooth finish with no bitter aftertaste. A good IPA for small brewpub.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 bp (670) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 25, 2011
Draft: pours dark amber with a frothy white head, fairly malty for an IP, not as hoppy as I would expect, slight bitterness in the finish.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 cruchr123 (29) - Mounds View, Minnesota, USA - JUL 20, 2011
A- The appearance is nice, two finger off white head, dissipates to a frothy ring around the glass, nice lacing, dark bronze color.
S- The scent is very mild, slight pine, earthy notes, malt is present, nothing stands out in the aroma.
T- Slight bitterness to this beer, some pine and citrus but very hidden, malt in the background, a little watered down IMO, easy drinking otherwise.
M- Medium mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.
O- This beer was not terrible but nothing stood out that would make me want to drink this again, easy drinkability but very plain.

On tap at the brew pub into a tasting glass...A light clear copper unappealing but a great white head with lacing that coats the whole glass supremely...The aroma is pretty boring, almost dead with only a hint of hops...The taste is boring, little flavor worth mentioning.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 portableparty (1185) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 16, 2011
Pint at Barley john’s. Hazy copper pour with a quick white head that leaves a streaky lacing. Aroma is malt and sweet caramel with a soft hop scent ( very faint). Taste is very malty with a nice bitter piny hop finish. Palate is medium with a fizzy chaulky finish.
