Sampled 8/21/04. Creamy white head, medium-amber/gold and hazy body. Grassy hop aroma. Sweet and light hoppiness... a bit like honey with earthy hops. Not big, but not bad at all!

Clear amber body, frothy off-white head. White bread sweetness and grassy hops in the aroma. Biscuit plus white sugar starts the flavor, it finishes with light stemmy hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Finally, a "summer ale" I can actually appreciate.

This is not the other "Summer Ale" listed here, for this had no witbier characteristics, and, in fact, it wasn’t even intended to be an ale, but then, ooops! Sorry, I was supposed to keep that part a secret...promised not to tell...but "ale" is close enough, so "ale" it is! Cloudy, deep amber hue, nearly yellow at glass’s bottom, wigh a creamy, meringue-like, snow-white dollop of froth atop. Aroma: possesses fruity esters, but doesn’t project to far, soft & light, mild, but appreciable. Taste is again mild, just a touch of hops, big malty taste. Solid body, though light, medium finish, leaves palate on friendly terms and begs for another taste. Very refreshing ale, easy to toss back without a trouble, but none too memorable. Does it’s job, though, and does it well! Excellent match with their great pizzas, sitting on the patio in 85 degree weather. Sampled 7/16/04
