Final intenso y seco. Sabores a frutas, principalmente manzana. En general una cerveza de estilo "Biere de Garde", con sabores complejos e interesantes. Muy Buena cerveza, digna de probar muchas veces más!

750 ml. Hazy copper-brown with a small lasting disc of creamy bubbles. Nice aroma of toasted malt, earthy peat and chocolate. Taste is toast, caramel, chocolate and light smoke and peat. Tobacco hints in the long finish. Light-medium body is soft and well balanced, with low carbonation and very drinkable.

murky brown/orange under a small frothy off-white head. complex aroma of flowers, caramel, hops, citrus, tea. flavors of tea, citrus, caramel, toast, hint of pepper. reminds me an english bitter or strong ale. light-med bodied and smooth/velvety texture with a hint of sourness.

A murky amber brownish hue with a thin beige head with some lacing on the pour. Aroma of caramel malt, yeast, and a nice fruity bouquet, plums, dates, raisins. Taste is sweet caramel malt, yeasty, with a nice fruity esters, white plums, figs, raisins. Palate is a medium to full body with a slightly creamy texture and mild carbonation. Finish is sweet caramel malt, yeast, fruity, plums, figs with some bitterness for balance and slight lingering alcohol ending. Overall a good, tasty and quite enjoyable brew.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2009 750ml bottle shared by argoO, thanks! Brown-amber color. Malty sweet butterscotch aroma, a touch off. Sweet brown malt tastes. Smooth and sugary. Some minimal balancing hops add a touch of bitterness spicy bitterness. Smooth and pleasant enough, but pales in comparison to the French versions. Still has that smooth Italian body. 2nd time I had it and I found it a little smoother.

330 from Oak Tree. Pours hazy copper with a two finger foamy beige head. Aroma is sweet funk. I didn’t know that was a possible combination. Near fullbodied with very light carbonation. Flavor is sweet pale stone fruit combined with dates. I didn’t know that was possible. Is it sweet? Arguably. Is it dry? Not exactly. Is it funky? Moderately. Is it fruity? Well what kind of fruit? Define the terms! Oh. Sorry. It seems to be a rather grapey ale. It is oh so good. Oh so fine. Doing the best things oh so conservatively. Wait. That went off the rails. Great ale!
