Bottiglia da 0,75 comprata al 28 e mezzo di Via Canneto il Lungo (GE). Di colore arancione, con una lieve schiuma poco persistente. L’aroma di arancia è già forte al naso, in bocca è qualcosa di fantastico, poichè si lega a un lieve dolce dato dal miele e all’amaro del luppolo davvero ben equilibrato.

Yum.. a me questa "Zàgara" del Barley è piaciuta proprio, molto beverina, fresca piacevolissima pur conservando una complessità che ne scringhignacca il gargaruccio. Dice Sergio che ora che ho tanta visibilità fra i votanti italiani molti leggeranno le boiate che scrivo ed io non posso che esserne lieto! Ciao uomini di mare e dei monti.

Bottle at chris_o’s "smash kook’s granny tasting". Alround rating: Pale biscuity malt, initially grassy then becomes far more floral with perhaps notes of orange, the honey is well incorporated and its alround very well balanced. Excellent easy drinking stuff.

Hazy orange gold with a thin white head. Very fruity plus plenty of barley and wheat. really tasty tropical hoppage, nice and dry plus some faint but very tasty notes of germoline. Very tasty.

Sampled from bottle@RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Thin, coarse greyish head. Unclear, orangey amber body. Inviting aroma of fresh, sweet tangerins and bubble-gum. Taste is dry and fruity, with a well prononced flavor of oranges. Some herbal notes, and a dry, restrained malt body. Light in body, clean in the mouth. Fresh fruit ending. Very nice, super drinkability.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, light to moderate yeasty, leather notes, honey notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sharp fruity, spicy, honey notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100224]

750 ml bottle. A hazy dark golden to medium amber beer with a small, frothy, mostly diminishing white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty and lightly to moderately hoppy, with notes of toasted grains, herbs, oranges, tangerines and honey. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation, quite long finish with medium bitterness. A bit light in body, but very refreshing and drinkable

750 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Hazy orange body with a thin white head. Aroma has a light spicy and floral fruity with just a delicate hint of honey. Flavor is light malty, with fruit (oranges), some caramel sweetness and floral. A bit thin body, but well made.
