Our second Christmas Ale includes all the goodies in our Christmas Ale and adds Belgian candi sugar and fermented with Belgian Abbey yeast

On draught at Barley’s Ale House #1. The beer is a clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, bananas and malt. Medium body with flavors of spiced yeast, banana, citrus and caramel malt. The finish is fruity up front with a peppery yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Alehouse on 12/26/11. Clear copper pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of banana, clove, caramel and spice. Flavor starts with cinnamon and nutmeg, then the banana and clove jump in along with some caramel malt before a peppery finish.
