COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Helles style Lager with light to medium body with a sparkling bright blonde appearance. A very clean true lager. You’ve heard "crisp" and "refreshing" to describe the nationals, but there’s always something lacking. With Bombshell Blonde, these descriptors are actually true. It’s the bomb.

Tasted from draft at Barleys Smokehouse. Pours a clear golden yellow with white head. Aroma is sweet with some caramel notes. Taste is pretty sweet with a mild bitter finish. Caramel and grassy notes present. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. This is a pretty good blonde ale. Definitely above average for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

5/20/2009: Bombshell Blonde is clear, golden yellow with a thin white to off-white head. This beer has a corn and cider-like aroma. The flavor is nutty like corn nuts with toasted malts and a soft, grassy bitterness in the finish. It has a medium-light body.

Draught (sample) at Barley’s Smokehouse in Columbus, Ohio. Rating #13 for this beer.

Had on tap at the Smokehouse. Very decent lager. Not a ton of flavor, but just enough to keep you drinking it. Would be a great starter beer for non beer folk.

draft at brewpub- sufficiently hoppy- saaz bite is crisp and refreshing- decent brew. "non-beer" drinkers I was with enjoyed it. Mass appeal.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear blonde/gold with a medium white head. Not much in the aroma; just a touch of malt and hops. Mild flavor with a bit of malt up front and a bit of hops in the finish.

If you’re taking someone with you to Barley’s that doesn’t like flavor in their beer and you want to try to springboard them into liking flavor in their beer, this is the one to suggest. Pours a dark yellow pour with a thin ring of white head. It’s pretty much what you’d expect from the style. Crisp, highly carbonated, a bit of a nutty character, grainy, lightly bready malt, clean finish.

5/24/08: On tap @ Smokehouse.
Light grass/hay aroma. Medium yellow body with a very slight, white head. Flavor is lager-like with a very clean finish. This is your standard lawn mower beer.
