Appearance: hazy orange, creamy off white head, sticky layers of lace
Aroma: huge floral hop aroma backed by sweet crystal malt
Flavor: sweet malt flavor, lots of floral hops, light balancing bitterness, light bitter finish

Appearance was hazy orange brown with creamy lasting off white head, spotty lacing. Aromas where of sweet malt and grapefiuts, then citrusy hops kick in with chocolate and caramel coming in also. Taste was sweet roasty malts then lemony acidic friuts. Hops come to play, but subtle. Slight alcohol present at first. Palate was smooth creamy carbonation with medium average length woody slighty metal caulky finish. Warms up smoother...

Draft glass at the brewpub. Medium amber hue with a bit of a sticky head. The aroma is harsh like a warm fruit rind. Ditto to the flavor ... roughage, dirty earth and an off-putting sense of old gum, and then just a quiver of grapefruit in the finish. Eh ... (#3078, 9/8/2007)
