2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, - OCT 10, 2005
Completely opaque black pour, covered by a lasting brown head. Big malt dominance goes straight for the coffee, on the way hinting at molasses and cookies which make for a rather sweet brew. Indeed, in mouth, the cream flavours are extreme, procuring a milky edge that pairs with the globally irony character to form an almost corky, basement character that does not really befit an impy. Medium body, fully creamy, slightly lactic. A bit incoherent ultimately.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 3fourths (6393) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 5, 2005
Total butter and popcorn nose. Plain and bland, medium bodied which is somewhat thin for an imperial stout. Probably around 7.5% abv. Really plain... incredibly hard to taste anything other than dull wood.
