COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The original Octoberfest lager, according to German tradition. This full-bodied beer was brewed during the month of march with additional hops added in the brewing process to enhance the aroma. This special malt gives Red Rock an amber color and a taste you'll love to hoist.

Tap. Medium brown/amber. Light head, dissolves quickly. Smells of malty hops, a bit nutty, like it should, baby. Taste is surprisingly fruity and sweet, with a hoppy finish that has undertones of coffee and caramel. Finishes smooth and soft, and has a nice slow fade. Yummy.

Pours amber with a thin off white head. Smells of sweet malt. Tastes lightly malty and has a very full mouthfeel.

on tap-pours a tan head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel/some chocolate. Taste is medium malt-caramel/chocolate, some mild hops. Easy.

Draught at the pub. Definitely a step up from the normal macro offerings at a casino, but still short of a normal micro. The aroma was okay but it looked a little dull and flat. Not a bad flavour just rather thin and watery overall.

Draft - Juneish: Caramel color, light head, no lacing. Nose of light diacetyl and dust. The flavor is light, sweet and a touch of diacetyl and caramel continue. Thin mouthfeel, no body, little carbonation. Like drinking uncarbonated colored soda water.

tall boy at barley’s: had this twice so far, and both times it tasted different so definitely microbrew. good aroma, proper appearance, and the right flavor for an oktoberfest.. but just seems not quite like an authentic oktoberfest. either not enough sweet malt flavor, or they didn’t do a decoction mash. at any rate, passable brew and i would drink it again with dinner because its on the cheap and still tasty. perhaps they are increasing the amount of water to accomodate the fizzy yellow beer drinkers..

Amber color. Light caramel aroma. Very poor taste, with some bitter caramel. Weak.

The best they had the night I went there. Noticably grainy and hoppy, it was a passable and perhaps above average marzen. Still, not a great brewery, but cheap.
