Draft at brewpub. Slightly hazy amber body, small off-white head, US hop nose. Very hoppy, with starting and finishing bitterness and pronounced citrus flavors. Sweet crystal malt backbone.

Had on tap at Alehouse. Didnt expect to like this at all, as I just dont care for IPA’s. Poured a hazy amber. Very sweet smell of malts and pine. Taste was sticky pine, sweet malts, and grapefruit. This was very well blended and smooth and I actually like it alot.

Dogbrick (4828) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 14, 2008
On draught at Ale House #1 and served in a snifter. This beer is a cloudy dull amber color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Citrusy hops aroma with some earthy malt in the background. Medium-bodied with a nice resiny hops character and notes of citrus, malt and some oak. The finish is hoppy and lingers awhile. This IIPA is not a hop monster but is very flavorful and balanced. Enjoyable all around.

Firkin at the Alehouse. Pours a coppery color with a small white head. Aroma is big floral hops, citrus, light caramel notes. Flavor is again huge floral and bitter hops, caramel, citrus, some pine notes. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished very bitter and somewhat dry. Nice.
