4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured an orange amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, citrus, toasted dough, caramel malts, and floral hops. Taste was dry, bitter, skunky herb, with light grapefruit, and slight alcohol in the finish. Really nice, somewhat different IIPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A bit of an alcohol nose when I opened the bottle of this, but once poured into a glass it has a very nice piney and citrus aroma that spills out, lots and lots of hops seem to be waiting for me. The colour is a mostly clear orange and there was a small quickly disappearing head. The flavour was well backed by some syrupy maltyness, but has a bunch of great hoppy taste. Itís like someone squeezed the juice out of some hops, reminiscent of a Bellís hopslam but...could it be...a bit better?

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thanks to hopdog for sharing this growler. Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with an average off white creamy/bubbly head that sustained and left lots of spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine...like a whole handful of hop pellets. Hints of some caramel malts hidden in there as well. Flavor of upfront bitterness, grapefruit and pine. Not a whole lot of malt in there. Lacking the sweetness I was looking for in a Double IPA. Still great hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. Orange burps.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler: Poured a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Huge hop foward aroma of citrus and pine and then a big dirty sweaty hop aroma. The flavor was big with malt, hops and bitterness from the very start to the finish. Long bitter finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
draft at Barleyís. great IIPA. served too cold for aroma to really come out as stronly as it should, but was still relatively malty with some suggestion of fruit. very little head, standard orange/brown semitranslucence. taste was exceptional (a nice reminder of hops after 3 weeks in europe). hops were the dominant character but there was definitely a well-done balance with the malts. like the aroma, small suggestion of fruit in the taste. didnít pay much attention to mouthfeel, which means it was standard. i have a feeling this is a pretty big beer even though i didnt really taste any alcohol. good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Alehouse #2. Poured hazy dark amber with an average frothy off-white head that lasted. Heavy hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Full hoppy citrus flavor with a solid hoppy bitter finish that lasted. Good drinkable brew.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Served in a snifter and poured from the tower at Alehouse #1.
This beer reminded me alot of DFH 90 min IPA. Look great in the glass, a two finger head thatís bursting with hops. Very smooth on the palate and quite drinkable for an Imperial IPA. Hands down, a very solid IIPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at alehouse #1 - Pours amber but cloudy with a short offwhite head. Aromas of straight up c-hops.. citrus, pine, over light caramel malts. One sip though tells you that this brew has some backbone behind those hops.. Nice smooth balance and some very sweet caramel pokes itís way through the hops to lend a sweet smooth finish. Nice brew...

Delicious. I donít know how well this would do bottled and sitting on a store shelf for a while, but straight from the tap, and especially the cask conditioned version I had tonight was great. Gold/orange smal head, nice floral/citrus hop aroma with a big hop taste to boot. Really enjoyable.
