Very little aroma. Yellow in color. Has some fruity hops that rise as the beer continues. A little thin and didn’t notice any lemon, thankfully. Okay.

Very pallid yellow with little-to-no head. Light Band-Aid and lemon in the aroma. Spritzy mouth despite an odd thickness. Low diacetyl before light sugar-coated nuts and grassy bitters. At first I could not figure out what this was, but after I tried it I realized I didn’t really care.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 sliffy (2036) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2007
On cask at the Ale House: Poured a cloudy yellow gold with a medium sized white head. Aroma, lemon, floral, some spices, bready pale malts. Flavor, light maltyness up front with some spicy and floral notes. Some lemony hops, and a bit of yeast character as well. Pretty unique for barley’s, pretty solid though.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dogbrick (4828) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2007
Cask version at Barley’s 5th Annual Mini RAF (04/28/07): This beer is a murky straw color with a nil white head and very little lacing. The aroma is a cross between an IPA and a Witbier. Hops, citrus and a touch of vanilla in the nose. Light, crisp body with a grassy hops flavor, along with some spice and citrus. The finish is midly hoppy and citrusy. Overall a refreshing and unique beer that blurs the lines of established styles.

Had at Barley’s Mini Real Ale Fest 2007! Taste was grass, grapefruit and citrus. Interesting, but nothing great! I dont really like IPA’s, so I am a bit impartial...Slight bitter finish.

Pint at Alehouse #1 - Pours golden and fairly pale with a fair white fizzy head that faded fairly quick. Aromas big of lemongrass, and fresh cut lawn. Flavor is lemony throughout. Some crisp grain behind it as well. Very crisp and clean on the palate and slight bitterness at the dry finish. Interesting twist on the IPA style..

4/20/07: Growler from Ale House #1. Yellow bodied, very active large white head which diminishes down to a pencil thin rim of carbonation. Nose is very mild. Flavor is slightly lemony with a bit of grass. Clean but slightly bitter finish.
