Cask (handpump) at the Great British Beer Festival, Day 4 on 6 August 2010. Dark gold colour. Excellent condition. Initial sulphur hit on the nose (but not unpleasant). Some juicy, estery fruit notes and light tangy hop character emerge on the palate. Clean and refreshing. Promising start from a new brewery.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fresh, hoppy, licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100806]

Cask Handpump at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 06/08/2010 Citrus hop aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with some citrus flavour. A hint of bitterness in a slightly peppery malt finish.

6th August 2010. GBBF.
Clear gold beer. Light dry palate. Low carbonation. Wheaty malt with some repressed hop. Finishes dry. Nothing wrong here at all but it’s just a bit dull.

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some wood, dough and mild floral notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden and slightly sulphury.
